The group gave us a very warm welcome and to get to know you guys from the 'board' was wonderful. THANK YOU Niteman (Bill & Lucy), Rebelbob (Bob & Carol), We truly appreciated the warm welcome you guys gave us and the time was unforgettable ! Hope to meet you again very soon !! ------------------ This message has been edited by Dustis on 05-09-2004 at 12:01 PM After that we went across the Skyway with an elevation of 5200+ feet and a temperature of 20 deg.lower than in the valley - AWESOME - we had virtually no traffic in front of us so we could really let loose and haul a** . Once again a special thanks to Ed for recommending this route for our way home ! This message has been edited by Dustis on 05-09-2004 at 09:32 AM This message has been edited by ed monahan on 05-09-2004 at 12:21 PM Gery Gery Gery, how about joining us in Texas this year.Olivier joined us last year from Switzerland-it's your turn now! ------------------ Gery I wish the schedule would have been a little better but work won't allow it - we would have LOVED to go to Texas, especially after the Pigeon Forge trip which was really awesome I can only imagine (and dream) what TX will be like ! DUSTI We left Thursday morning for Pigeon Forge Tennessee to attend the 'informal gathering' of some POA members.
Needless to say this was our first meeting with other Cat owners...and what a blast we had !
We enjoyed every minute of it and unfortunately we could only stay 1 night but it was way beyond our expectations we had for the trip !
Florida Scott (Scott & Faye) as well as the one and ONLY Ed Monahan & Sandy

DUSTI says: "RELAX" REBELBOB Dustis was right!! It was a great event!!
We also had Walt from Michigan, Eddie and Joan Powell, and Pat and Jean Caughhorn from Toledo. It was great meeting them, also.
There was also Ron and Barb from Pa. along with Steve and Freda (the honorary members in the T-Bird) from Miss.
To all it was great seeing everyone and hope to see all again very soon.
Bob and Caroled monahan Steve & Freda came in Freda's T-Bird but Steve was there last August in his Vette, for all of you who were there last year. He had so much fun he came back and brought his wife and he doesn't even own a Prowler. He is a friend of Ron, they are both in the same business, basically.
We had a great time and it was good seeing the old gang and meeting the new folks. Dusti is gone to be another Marty or Rich Ware. He really has the bug. he and his wife are very nice people and they fit right in. It is good to see some more younger people who love the cat.
Scott washed his Woodward and he had the soft top up. When the car dried he had a mark on the trunk lid where the rubber seal meets the deck lid and also another milky looking area about the size of a dollar bill. Has anyone else experienced this problem? It reminded me of Rich Ware's problem with the wet bra drying on the cat and ruining his hood.
Any suggestions for him?idive Ed - I assume both came off? I guess I'm not clear on what you're saying. Washed with top up... as in window lifted, washing where the seal would have been and mark still there? I get that sometimes. A little repeated swipes with a little pressure on the sponge will get that up. Milky dollar bill size spot???? Where? I've gotten a similar haze after washing, or when car gets wet, and then wipe it down (after waxing the car with too much wax,) but it wipes down ok. I think its just not wiping all the wax off good when waxing, then the water kinda milks it up. Are these acurate descriptions of the problem? Blue Kat Use a Heat Gun (not a hair dryer) on the milky spot. Keep the heat gun moving and it will clear up in a few minutes. DUSTI On our way back we rode the "Dragons-Tail" (Hwy. 129 - 300+ curves on 11 miles) and what a riot that was - my wife couldn't stop giggling while we were forcing our Cat down the road - kinda like a "self-controlled-rollercoaster" !
We still can't stop smiling !!ed monahan Mickey, the marks did not come off. It looked like water under the wax but they could not get it off even with polishing type products that they had. I thought it might disappear in the hot sun but it did not go away. Hopefully he will read the heat gun trick.
Dusti, I knew you would like that route and it took longer but was generally on the way home so I figured it was worth it for you. Glad you had some giggles.CJ Glad to hear you all had fun.......sure wish we could have made it.......great pics, too! ed monahan The group picture at dinner at Nascar Cafe is:
Sandy, Ron Spaulding, Barbara Spaulding, Heiki (Dusti's wife), Faye Albritton, Carol Silsby, and Lucy Stephens(niteman's wife). I wanted to say thank you to everyone I met at Prowlin Pigeon Forge 2004. I had a BLAST! Until this event cars were just transportation to me. Now Ron and I are looking for a second Prowler. Guess you guys and gals really got to me. I look forward to seeing Prowler owners at the Carlisle show in July. Eddie Powell Glad to see everyone made it home safely. Sorry we had to leave Wed. (I had to work Thursday~~some of us have to work hard) and miss seeing the rest of you. Pigeon Forge has so much to do you can't see it all. Looking forward to doing it again. Scott Albritton Hi everyone,
Faye and I had a great time at Pigeon Forge. Everyone was so nice and we hated to leave. But we must get back to work. We enjoyed meeting everyone and making new friends.
Thanks for the post on my paint problem Ed. I'll try the heat gun and let you guys know if it works, I sure hope it will.
ScottAustrian Prowler I am happy that you all had a great time.

we need to make this a true international event!
Pictures look great, wish I could have made it this year!Austrian Prowler Roman: Yes I thought about an event (Texas or Canada) this year, but I couldnīt manage it. But I know sometime I could.
And then you know, Austria is a white wine country. Is there enough white wine in Texas?
Oliver from Switzerland also need 2 years from POA-registration to his first POA-event, I hope I am faster.
But maybe another Oliver can manage it? Dusti you hear me?DUSTI I hear you Gery, I hear you ! Austrian Prowler I 2 NITEMAN To all that attended Pigeon Forge we miss you already! For those that didn't, we (Lucy and I) prowled down to Pigeon Forge with Bob and Carol Silsby. When we arrived we met Pat & Joan Caughhorn and their friend Walt. Pat and Walt are both retired from Chrysler and Joan still works for Chrysler. They had some great stories and they are all really great people. Next we met Eddie and Jean Powell, more great people. Jean, Carol and Lucy hit it off right away, meaning they got into trouble right away and often! It didn't take long for Joan to help them either! Eddie is the hardest working Prowler owner I've met and I would love to follow his example! lol (He works one day a week at a golf course) So we had five Prowlers right off the bat. We sat down Sunday evening and the four bosses (women) worked out an itinerary. Monday Scott & Faye rolled in and within a couple of hours Faye (who is kinda shy, NOT) had fit right in with the other girls. Scott was very familiar with the area and became our guide through the Smokies as well as the leader through the dragon's tail. Again another great couple! We all went to the Louise Mandrell show Tuesday night and ran into Ron & Barb in their black Prowler and also Steve and Freida in her light blue T-bird. More great people. Wednesday we had to say goodby to Eddie and Jean and that is always the toughest part about these events. They are really special people and we hope to see them soon. Of course, Ed and Sandy pulled in Wednesday so that picked things up again. Ed and Sandy are an event by themselves! Ed, I mean that in a good way. Thursday Oliver and Heiki arrived and although they were only there a short while it didn't take long to realize that they were really great people too. It continues to amaze me how many genuinely good people we have met through the POA and none that I didn't like. All in all this was a great event. Everyone was so nice! The big events are fun with all the cars and hanging in the parking lots getting to meet lots of people but this was one of the best times we have had. We got to spend so much more time with the new friends we made and we really got to know everyone. Thank you again to all that attended. Lucy and I really hope to see you all again soon. If we can figure out how to do an event scrapbook we will post some of the 200 pictures that Lucy took! Oh, one last thing. Bob and Carol, thanks so much for putting us up. You are truly great friends! Chromer
Mamma Mia!! Now that's za lotta BUMPERS!
